ALS & Alternate Access: From Voice Input to TrackBall Use

This session will explain a range of options, and then take an in-depth look at Voice Input and Trackball use as alternate methods of computer access, when pALS’ hands are weakening. Specifically, we’ll explore Voice Control, Voice Access, and Dragon Professional software, and the Kensington ExpertMouse Trackball hardware. This training will review key factors to consider and explain the best time to implement each of these alternate access options.
